An opportunity has opened up for a Deputy Childcare Supervisor role at Luncarty Wraparound Care, where you'll be involved in managing the daily operations of the childcare service and stepping in for the Childcare Supervisor when needed.
This position offers a chance to enhance your skill set by assisting in running services, planning activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children aged 3 years to Primary 7.
- Support the Childcare Supervisor in organizing day-to-day operations
- Plan stimulating activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, and physical play
- Contribute to children's learning and development in a registered childcare service
Flexibility is key, with 18 hours per week during term time and 36 hours per week during holidays. Your schedule may vary during holiday periods, ensuring diverse work experiences.
RequirementsNo specific qualifications are needed initially, but you'll work towards obtaining a Practitioner qualification. Training and financial support will be provided. Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is mandatory within 3 months of starting.
