Job Description

**Job Title:** Nursery Deputy Manager - Leadership Role

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team at JEM Childcare Solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our nursery and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management team in the overall direction and strategy of the nursery.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children, staff, and parents.
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and deliver training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's curriculum and educational programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including the Curriculum for Excellence framework and Care Inspectorate requirements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a nursery setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management, with experience of leading and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence framework and Care Inspectorate requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, children, and parents.
