Their expertise includes residential and commercial property management, investment consultancy both in the UK and in Europe, leasing, sales, development and professional advice including rent reviews and lease renewals.


Purpose

The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for delivering a assistance to the client accounting function in respect of service charges, rental income and accounts payable.

The post holder will ensure that all client accounting functions including incomeand expenditure are processed in a timely manner and do not breach RICS codes of practice.

The role will further be responsible for ensuring the overall integrity of data in the Qube Property Management, system.

The role is mainly office based

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing daily input of bank account income.
  • Input of expenditure onto Qube system.
  • Supplier payments both client and corporate
  • Ensure all financial details are recorded accurately.
  • Setting up new developments in Qube to include reviewing and coordinating the setup of the service charges.
  • Ensuring that all monies received and expended on behalf of company clients are accounted for correctly in accordance with RICS regulations and current Government legislation
  • Assist with the production of annual service charge statements, ensuring that the results are accurate, timely and correctly reflect the prevailing accounting standards and RICS code of practice.
  • Develop relationships with the key stakeholders both external and internal
  • Updating and maintaining the property management accounting systems and other databases
  • Issuing of sales invoices for lettings, management fees and other income.
  • Ensuring New suppliers meet our criteria and setting them up on the database
  • Allocation of incoming queries via work flow.
  • Landlord payments and queries.
  • Liaising with leaseholders and clients regarding service charge and rental accounting queries, ensuring that they are logged on Qube and updated through to closure. A polite and professional approach to communicating with customers is essential.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with legal requirements specifically but not limited to the Data Protection Act and the Health & Safety at Work Act. Ensure compliance with the companies policies, procedures, constitution, and financial regulations. Ensurecompliance with regulatory and statutory bodies as well as with best practice principles.
