We're looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a wonderful small college in the Uxbridge area.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and carers to provide individualized support to college students with additional needs, including Autism and Complex Needs.

We offer flexible working hours and a fun, supportive work environment. We value diversity and inclusion, and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with teachers to identify students who need additional support and develop individualized support plans.
  • Provide oneonone and smallgroup support to students with learning differences.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create and implement differentiated lesson plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed.
  • Assist with classroom management and organization.
  • Build positive relationships with students and families.

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
  • Previous experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs.
  • Available immediately to work as a Learning Support Assistant.
  • Being able to carry out personal care to the students as part of the role.
