We are recruiting for a Young Carers Activity Co-ordinator to be responsible for the planning and delivery of activities, events and opportunities for young people who have caring responsibilities at home.


This is an extremely rewarding position which benefits from true hybrid working arrangements, involving a mix between community working with young people, office working with a great team and home working for added flexibility and work-life balance.

We provide full training to set you up to succeed and are looking for applicants with:

  • Ability to work with children and young people, individually and in group settings
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages
  • Drive to motivate and encourage others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to manage a complex workload
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Specific duties will include:

  • Developing relationships with relevant community groups.
  • Raising awareness of young carers and identifying provisions for them.
  • Representing ncompass at local meetings and events.
  • Planning, coordinating and delivering meaningful support services for young carers.
  • Conducting risk assessments.
  • Maintaining our database accurately.
