You will provide ongoing support to SYBP, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH) Care Groups, and Corporate Departments through the business partner model on TUPE, retention, terms and conditions of service, performance management, and other related workforce initiatives.
Working within the appropriate Trust policies/procedures and employment law, taking advice from senior colleagues as required.Undertaking day to day supervision of the HR Business Partner Team, you will support the HR Business Partner on a range of HR initiatives, deputising for the HR Business Partner as and when required.

Whilst Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STHFT) is host employer, the post holder will undertake duties at any of the sites within the network as listed above.
STHFT operates with a budget of £, has a workforce of over 18,500 employees, covers five hospital sites, provides care from over forty community settings, and has an excellent reputation for research.

Graduate CIPD qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and skills gained through a combination of short courses, postgraduate study, and/or from significant experience in the field of general HR/employee relations.
Where available, elements that contribute to improved/immediate performance in the job. Evidence of continuing professional development.Postgraduate qualification in HR/Business Management.
Essential:
Significant knowledge and recent experience working in an employee relations/recruitment environment. Experience of managing staff or able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of line management requirements.
Significant experience of providing advice and guidance to managers/staff on general HR and/or employee relations issues of a highly complex/sensitive nature.
Experience of dealing with Management of organizational change or to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding in terms of the processes involved.
Experience and/or knowledge of policy development and formulation.Competent user of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Training managers/groups of staff on HR matters.
Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills, including the work effectively to multiple deadlines, casework, project work, recruitment.
