Ecotricity is seeking an experienced Senior Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) within the Green Britain Group. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring compliance against data practices internally
- Providing staff training and conducting data protection internal audits
The Senior DPO will collaborate with the Regulatory Team and be the primary contact for supervisory authorities and data subjects. Key responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and monitor policies for GDPR compliance
- Oversee key data projects and privacy impact assessments
- Conduct data privacy audits and enhance data and privacy training
Other responsibilities include maintaining data asset records, managing IT systems compliance, and ensuring adherence to data privacy laws and policies.
Requirements for the role include in-depth knowledge of EU data privacy regulations, project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Experience in privacy compliance and a Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) certification are essential.
