Complex Care Support Worker DRIVER REQUIRED

Reference: 1706-T2P-001-YORK To apply for this role, you will need: Full UK driving licence
Availability to work 3 12 hour shifts (days or nights)
Previous experience of PBS Plans and experience with Sherwood, PMVA, MAPPA, or other similar training
Previous experience supporting individuals on the autistic spectrum and/or a learning disability About the Role This is an exciting role for somebody looking to further develop their experience working in a bespoke setting, supporting individuals with complex and mental health needs.
If you are highly motivated by offering unconditional positive support with a non-judgemental approach, with the aim to truly enhance individual's lives, this role is for you.
You need to be bubbly and enthusiastic with a calm demeanour to excel in this position.Job description includes, but is not limited to:
Understanding individuals communication needs and adapting strategies to fit.
Having high attention to detail to pick up on subtle changes in mood, behaviour and routine.
Be a role model and have the desire to get to know about shared interests and hobbies.
Experience with behaviours that challenge and de-escalating situations.
Collaborating with fellow support workers, family members and other professionals.
Safeguarding the confidentiality of personal information.
Promoting a team approach, offering support to colleagues when needed.
