The Role
37 hours per week, term time only (plus PD days).

  • Key Accountabilities_
- _Ensuring the safety and security of the Academy at all times, making sure that the front door and entrance gate is locked and entry to the premises controlled. Ensuring that all visitors sign in and take a visitor badge where necessary._
- _Communicating with parents regarding all aspects of school life, receiving and passing on information, between parents and teachers._
- _Maintaining and updating school information, records and databases._
- _Inputting pupils data on to databases._
- _Keeping up to date with record keeping and filing._
- _Receive, sort and distribute all packages, deliveries and mail._
- _Ensuring that the reception area is kept smart and tidy._
- _Completing asset register._
- _Sending out requests to parents for pupil data updates._
- _Cataloguing, preparing, issuing and maintaining equipment and materials._
- _Check driving licences of any staff operating school vehicles that may affect insurance, or who claim travel expenses._
- _To assist with the ordering of stationery, materials and resources and ensuring that stock levels are maintained._
- _To collect and record monies received for School lunches and uniform as appropriate and update on the Academy record._
- _Maintain and update the school diary._
- _Administering free school meals, recording and reconciliation._
- _Liaising with outside agencies to arrange special school visits e.g. Injections, medicals etc._
- _Accurate and compliant record keeping of accidents._
- _Bulk photocopying._
- _Preparation and distribution of outgoing letters, newsletters etc._
- _Completing the spring and autumn term school census, annual sort out procedures._
- _Ensure software licences are up to date._
- _Conducting hardware audit and dispose of old equipment._
- _Being the point of contact for system logins._
- _Taking minutes/actions at meetings._

River Tees Multi-Academy Trust is a small but growing Trust in the North East of England serving some of the most disadvantaged communities in the country.

We provide the highest quality education for learners who have struggled within the mainstream schooling system. Children and young people are welcomed in to our academies, regardless of their challenges, past history or additional needs.
