Job Description

Civica is a leading provider of public sector software in the UK, experiencing continuous growth for more than two decades. The company is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative technologies that are enhancing essential public services across different sectors such as Local Government, Education, and Healthcare.

The primary objective of the Marketing team is to enhance awareness of Civica's expertise within target audiences and markets, promoting consideration of Civica's products and services over competitors. This includes generating a sufficient quantity of high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to support the revenue goals of the Sales department.

Currently, there is a need for a Website Product Manager to play a crucial role within the Civica Marketing Division. The website serves as a vital digital channel and Route To Market (RTM). The goal is to establish the website as a leading global sales and service platform, effectively generating high-quality MQLs and enhancing the overall customer experience.

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing a comprehensive website strategy to align with the company's growth objectives. Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, optimizing channel performance, and ensuring a significant contribution of MQLs originating from the website throughout the sales process.

Collaboration with various departments within the organization, particularly Marketing, Product, and Sales Enablement, is essential for success in this role. Working closely with teams in customer insight, planning, product marketing, brand management, campaigns, and operations is crucial to executing the strategic plan effectively.

This position holds significant importance in the marketing division, requiring a blend of website management, technical expertise, creativity, commercial awareness, project management skills, problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and proven experience in stakeholder management within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the website contributes to overall marketing targets, focusing on MQL generation and technical KPIs.
  • Support the launch of a new global website.
  • Develop and manage the website product roadmap, encompassing key value enhancements, integrations, and customer journey enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Technology Product Manager to optimize the MarTeck stack integration for enhanced RTM channels.
  • Work with the marketing operations team to oversee the roadmap and backlog, ensuring timely delivery as per expectations.
  • Lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story development, feature implementation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to identify essential capabilities and use cases.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to craft positioning messaging and maintain differentiation from competitors.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance to drive continuous enhancement.
  • Conduct sprint retrospectives to promote ongoing learning and performance evaluation.
  • Engage with marketing planning, campaign, and operations teams for efficient execution.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation to deliver top-tier services, quality, and value.

Essential Competencies:

  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise website management, preferably in the B2B tech/SaaS sector
  • Expertise in creating and managing optimized user journeys for key audiences
  • Proficient in defining, collecting, and prioritizing use cases, including managing backlogs with stakeholders
  • Highly numerate with a track record of reporting accurately against established KPIs across various funnel metrics
  • Strong analytics skills and data-driven decision-making, capable of utilizing metrics and tools to drive informed decision-making processes
  • Technical proficiency to support integrations with key platforms in the customer journey, such as Eloqua, Salesforce, and GoToWebinar
  • Exceptional collaboration skills demonstrated through previous work experiences
  • Passion for developing high-quality products that address customer and business needs
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Comprehensive understanding of Digital Experience Products & Platforms, including latest trends, practices, and standards
  • Proven project management capabilities
