Business Support Partner, Operations

How will you make an impact:
As the Business Support Partner, you will provide support to the COO on a wide range of areas, improving organisational and departmental performance by providing a high-quality business support function.
The role will support providing strategic leadership in developing departmental and corporate business support solutions and ensuring their alignment with business priorities, as well as providing change management support.
Reporting directly to the COO, you will work closely with the CFO, CTO and other key stakeholders within the Operations team and wider business.
What your day may look like:
- Support the COO in coordinating the production of required reports and other submissions to the Boards, engaging early where input is required and setting high standards (time and quality) for delivery
- Ensure the Operations team is organised and prepared for key set piece events, including boards, other governance forums and other critical elements in the Company calendar e.g. due diligence deadlines, questionnaire submission dates
- Support the development of a monthly performance MI pack, ensuring focus on the key drivers of sustainable performance by critically assessing actual performance and identifying areas for improvement (in both performance and MI)
- Support the COO and other stakeholders in the delivery of special projects and adhoc initiatives, including developing the required business outcomes, planning to achieve and aligning objectives across a variety of stakeholders
- Lead the development of and engagement in our functional plan, collaborating across the team to set out an engaging vision for the future and set of credible initiatives that align with the broader Company vision and values
- Support due diligence and contracting activity, working closely with Sales and Customer Success teams
- Develop business practices/processes that facilitate/ support transformation and change, shaping processes and culture to improve the Company's capacity for change
- Continuously review processes and practices relating to the role and act as a catalyst for change and improvement in individual and team performance.
What it takes to be successful:
- Experience in a similar Business Support role would be advantageous
- Commitment and selfmotivation to work within deadlines with minimum supervision
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a 'cando' attitude.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Professional and clear communicator with the ability to build strong relationships
- Numerically strong, with good diagnostic, analytical and process skills.
