Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for our Load Cell product range. We combine expert engineering with strong customer service, contract management and operational planning capabilities. Our expertise and understanding of monitoring instrumentation and data acquisition systems enables us to provide a range of integrated testing and monitoring solutions that meet the highly challenging and technically demanding needs of our customers. Our aim is to enable asset owners/managers and construction companies to make timely decisions that reduce the risk of a project throughout the asset lifecycle.

What will I be doing?

As BES Asset Reliability's Business Development Manager of our Load Cell products, you will identify and deliver new long term strategic client relationships for the business. Working as part of the team you will proactively identify opportunities whilst undertaking strategic customer visits to bring on new customers as well as developing existing customer accounts and our agent networks.

You will also be responsible for driving marketing activities, producing quotes and/or commercial and technical proposals to be presented to the customer and liaising with our engineering and production department to establish solutions with an accurate costing and lead time.

Managing sales and marketing activities for our bespoke load cell product sales Develop and implement a marketing strategy for different target markets and products Manage the entire sales process from finding leads, establishing contact, qualification through to award, working closely with the Sales support team, agent and client to close the order Engage with qualified prospects through direct meetings and continuous dialogue to create positive long term partnerships Maintain and develop customer relationships in assigned regions, or markets Ensure requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner, when required generate a quotation or commercial and technical proposals and forward the quotation to the appropriate sales team or customer directly as applicable Attend weekly team meetings with the sales team Responsible for ensuring CRM and other sales applications are accurately updated Support Customer Services function as appropriate with regards to resolving any commercial or technical issues Undertake any reasonable duties specified by the Management Team when required Attend key market exhibitions to promote products and identify opportunities

What experience do I need?

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our experienced team. You will be a dynamic salesperson who thrives in a target driven environment, with a strong drive to succeed.

You will:

Offer previous experience working within the oil & gas, marine or renewable industry Have the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do Excel in relationship building, influencing and negotiating, owing to your strong communication and interpersonal skills Possess highly effective sales, communication and presentation skills Advanced user of MS office programmes Knowledge of load monitoring or a background in an engineering / technical company would be a distinct advantage An interest in online lead generation Ability to drive sales through digital marketing strategies Excellent influential communication skills: Interpersonal, presentation and written Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals
