We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at our well-established company We are currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join our close-knit team. As a Customer Service Administrator, you will primarily work alongside the Office Manager, assisting with various administrative tasks. These include handling incoming calls from new and existing customers, addressing queries, and preparing client paperwork and invoices.

  • Salary: Up to £32,000 Depending on Experience
  • Working Hours: 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Office based

Key responsibilities of a Customer Service Administrator:

  • Responding to incoming calls/emails from new customers and redirecting to the appropriate department
  • Reviewing and responding to new inquiries from our marketing platforms
  • Collecting and entering client data into the database, acting as a liaison between clients and internal staff
  • Scheduling surveys, verifying postcodes for optimal route planning
  • Preparing client paperwork, such as invoices, and sending completed reports to clients
  • Creating works acceptance forms, organizing remittance advice, compiling client documents in job folders and the custom internal database
  • Managing customer queries by coordinating with staff on pending tasks
  • Supervising the fleet, including subcontractor parking
  • Efficiently addressing complaints and escalating when necessary
  • Exploring new revenue opportunities by engaging with potential clients

Key skills and competencies for a Customer Service Administrator:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong telephone etiquette, proactive nature, and the ability to build strong customer relationships
