Hills Municipal Collections have an opportunity available for a Waste Support Officer
to join our team based in Sands Farm
. You will join us on a
full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£23,066.

80 per annum
alongside a great range of benefits, including:

About the role:


As our Waste Support Officer
, you will provide a first class administration service to support the members of the Municipal Collection Division and to be the first point of contact for customers and clients.


Your key responsibilities as our Waste Support Officer will include:

  • Dealing with customer queries and orders and to maintain the sales records, database and relevant systems, both manual and electronic
  • To maintain drivers records in line with the Goods Vehicles Operators Licence
  • Monitor and maintain the Bartec backoffice system
  • Update all relevant databases
  • To deliver reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

What we're looking for in our Waste Support Officer:
Essential

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft word and excel
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; both face to face and over the phone
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask
Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar position
