The Team Leader Digital Systems, is responsible for leading and developing the functions of software development (DevOps), Clinical Systems (Electronic Patient Record (EPR) development, administration, and training) and Clinical Systems development projects in the Informatics Team

The Team Leader Digital Systems reports to the Head of Informatics supporting this function to manage the functions of the Informatics Team they are responsible for including:

  • Leading Informatics led projects
  • Developing, creating, and monitoring the strategic workplan
  • The post holder will lead the development and maintenance of Informaticsled clinical and corporate systems understanding the links and working collaboratively with data services ensuring they meet the current and future needs of the organisation

Master's degree underpinned by theory and experience or evidence of a minimum of 3 years working successfully in a similar management/leadership role

Line management training and experience

Recognised project management qualification e.g. Evidence of successful leadership, coaching and management skills within a large diverse organisation.

Working knowledge of Data Services tools
Experience of developing and delivering training packages
Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence for a senior manager level audience

Advance knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data and information
Evidence of organisational and time management skills
Ability to gather business requirements from clinical or non-clinical colleagues and translate these into a brief for development or configuration
Demonstrates experience of successful change management projects, negotiation and influencing skills within a variety of settings
Proven ability to produce concise and persuasive reports and analysis

Ability to travel to all Trust and stakeholder sites within the Lincolnshire area, other reference sites and off-site training and meeting venues out of area

Understanding of how the field of Informatics relates directly to performance and clinical effectiveness of service delivery
