About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Governance and Records Management Lead to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Digital and Data Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our information governance and records management functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of information governance and records management policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on information governance and records management best practices.
  • Lead on the monitoring of information processing against agreed standards and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Manage the delivery of a professional access to records service to staff, patients, and statutory bodies.
  • Investigate incidents involving breaches of confidentiality and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department and service managers to ensure that information governance and data protection processes meet business requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on information governance, records management, and data security.
  • Support the development of local information sharing agreements and undertake data protection impact assessments.

Requirements

  • Significant experience working in health informatics and records management at a senior level or in a specialist advice role.
  • Specialist knowledge across data protection, including data and cyber security in the NHS, freedom of information, Caldicott, records management, and information governance.
  • Previous experience of supervising and/or managing within a large diverse organization.
  • Working knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018, Freedom of Information Act 2000, and Confidentiality Code of Conduct and associated legislation.
