The Opportunity:

on Campus internships are ONLY open to 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK.


We are looking for an intern to support marketing and delivery of the University's Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas programme at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.


The Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas (CODI) feature university academics talking about some of their more controversial research in an informal setting at the Edinburgh Fringe.

2024 will be the twelfth year that CODI has run.

The Cabaret of Dangerous Intern will lead on the final marketing of the 2024 shows

This will include:

  • Undertaking a programme of focussed, tailored publicity for each show
  • Designing and implementing a social media campaign for the whole programme.
This is a fixed term 12 week post from 10th June

  • 30th August
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
