We are looking for a Teacher of Physics to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Physics to work with our Head of Physics and the Physics Team in taking the department on to even greater success.

Physics is a popular and successful subject within the School, with numbers for A Level Physics being consistently high, and approximately 80-85% of Key Stage 4 students studying separate sciences at GCSE.

The successful candidate will:


• Have a passion for teaching Physics and the ability to inspire both staff and students.


• Have the ability to teach Physics to A Level.


• Insist on a commitment from all young people to achieve success, and will have the ability to motivate students with a focus on maximising attainment.


• Have outstanding subject knowledge and an awareness of current developments in Science teaching.


• Be fully committed to a strong safeguarding culture across the School.
