East Sussex National Resort is recruiting Housekeeping Staff with a variety of hours from 8am-4pm available with the additional of early public area cleaning (6am start) and late made (6pm-8pm).

Full shifts are but we would be happy to discuss flexible hours.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and need people to work in a range of shifts and days, this means flexibility is required.

The hotel's busiest periods are during evenings and weekends, any specific working pattern requests can be discussed at an interview.


Set in 1100 acres of English countryside, East Sussex National offers a perfect retreat for both business and leisure guests.

With 104 beautiful bedrooms, health club, spa (with 9 treatments rooms, Rassoul and bathing suite) and two championship golf courses.

East Sussex National also offers a wide range of meeting and events spaces which is ideal for day meetings, residential conferences or that special social event.


Purpose of Role:

To ensure that all areas of the Venue are clean and presented to the standard set in the operations manual.

To ensure that your department delivers a high quality service to the customers.

Now people are allowed to come and visit us, we need you to help us make sure the Resort is kept in pristine condition.


Reporting to:
Head of Housekeeping/Assistant Housekeeper

Key responsibilities:

  • Cleaning the hotel's rooms (including ensuite bathrooms) and public areas to high standard and within time limits around business needs
  • Making beds, hoovering, dusting
  • Cleaning bedrooms and public bathrooms
  • To maintain security in all areas protecting Company and customers property, paying particular attention to key and door security.
