Manpower is currently seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join the team at a well-established manufacturing company located in Pocklington.

As a valuable member of the Fabrication Team, your role will involve creating high-quality components essential for the company's product range.

You will utilize a variety of tools and machinery, including the CNC Press Brake, to fabricate sheet metal pieces and prepare them for Powder Coating. Proficiency in MIG & TIG Welding is essential for this position.

We are looking for candidates with the following experience:

  • Proficiency in Sheet Metal practices.
  • MIG and TIG Welding experience
  • Handling Power and Hand Tools
  • Operating Press Brake

Key Accountability:
 Operating CNC Press Brakes (AMADA) and welding machines.

Main Duties:

Working with various materials such as Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel
Operating machinery (Press Brake, Rollers, PEMserter, Pillar Drill, etc)
Welding Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium parts
Utilizing hand and power tools for metalwork
Grinding and finishing metal parts
Completing necessary documentation and quality checks
Maintaining tools and machinery
Communicating material requirements to Workshop Manager
Preparing parts for Powder Coating
Supporting other business operations as needed
Job Tenure:
Permanent and Full-Time
