London, Greater London, United Kingdom Evolution Full time

Evolution is working exclusively to recruit to the below Day Rate contract opportunity

About Us

We are an award-winning technology hub that offers cutting-edge digital technologies. We are on a mission to deliver cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable digital solutions to address the burning needs of the NHS.

We pilot and scale emerging technologies to enable high-impact and data-driven digital transformation for all NHS organizations:

  • Since our inception in 2020, we have piloted and deployed several automations using Robotic-Process Automation across 20+ NHS Trusts in the country.
  • In 2023, we built on our success by adding Process-Mining to our digital toolkit – an advanced analytics tool that enables hospital leaders to target critical bottlenecks & introduce high-impact interventions.
  • In 2024, we aim to use Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to automate time-consuming, non-clinical workflows to alleviate pressure of NHS workforce

Our team is a hybrid of NHS & a health tech startup – we are results-oriented, agile, and responsible. Our mission to deliver value to the NHS is engrained in our culture – we are extremely passionate, disciplined, and committed.

Currently a small team of ~20, we represent cross-functional talents from all professional backgrounds – technology, business, and healthcare. And now we are looking to expand the team as we roll out to more organizations within the NHS.

Digital Transformation Manager

Location: Remote (with monthly onsite presence)

Engagement Type: Contract (12 months)

We are looking for an experienced Digital Transformation Manager who will build on our success-to-date and continue to deliver high-impact automations to NHS organizations.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of all 3 solution workstreams (process-mining, intelligent automation, and AI).

You will work independently and drive the successful technical delivery of multiple projects from planning to implementation and confidently liaise with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to lead the transformation.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to own and drive one of the most important aspects of our organization.

You will have the opportunity to shape this function to yield successful outcomes working alongside the best-in-class technology partners. You will also develop your own strategy & implementation plan - leveraging advice and guidance from the wider team.

You will also need to fit into our culture seamlessly. We are extremely driven and care deeply about our values:

  • We strongly believe in our mission to transform the NHS and are motivated by this mission to contribute to our success
  • We are fanatically driven by results; resolved to do whatever it takes to make the organisation great
  • We embody a culture of honesty and integrity, collaboratively engaging with each other to search for the best answer without letting our egos get in the way
  • We value discipline and take extreme responsibility in owning our objectives – diligently working within the team's strategic and operational framework
  • We are humble and take responsibility for our mistakes and share the credit for success
  • We have a hunger for learning and are constantly picking up new skills and concepts of emerging technologies

  • Own/Manage the project plans, the technical delivery and programme timeline
  • Manage the programme/project risks, actions, issues, dependencies and budget
  • Provide programme status reporting to progamme governance stakeholder groups

  • Must have Senior Programme/Project Management experience leading, delivering and implementing transformation projects within digital or tech and rolling out across global workstreams.
  • Must have Prince2 or Agile qualification.
  • Must have Project Management experience delivering large-scale transformation projects (i.e. mapping project plans and activity, managing timeline and support the strategic delivery and execution).
  • Own, manage and drive all core PMO activities (i.e. set up meeting, manage RAID, governance, processes, documentation and resource management).
  • Strong Leadership and stakeholder management skills – have strong interpersonal and communications skills. Liaise, collaborate and influence senior stakeholders across functional teams and workstreams. Can confidently interpret, translate and communicate the technical requirements, recommendations and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills - Report project risks and issues. Understand ambiguous concepts. Identify issues and develop recommended solutions. Monitor, review and report on programme status updates and delivery. Report to stakeholders on progress.
