ACE Winches are currently looking for Business and Administration Modern Apprentices that will support all departments with administrative tasks as required, and ensure that work is accurate, concise, and produced in a timely manner.

The role holder will adhere to, and implement, ACE company procedures at all times.


The Business and Administration Modern Apprenticeship will rotate through four areas of the business providing administrative support to Engineering, Projects, Hire Personnel, and Manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities

Take a proactive approach to all departmental administrative tasks, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Support meetings as requested and document minutes accordingly.
Effective time management to ensure jobs are complete in a timely manner.
Effective communicator, with an ability to understand a range of procedures and processes.

Ensure all documentation and records are always up to date and take steps to identify and source any missing information.

Request Job Numbers for the department and communicate relevant job numbers to those who require them.
Liaise and communicate with other departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Support with departmental audits and spot checks as and when required.
Review and update departmental processes relevant to own role.
Assisting with reception duties, as and when required.
Support wider business with administration tasks, working as part of a team.
Undertake any other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Essential

Ability to organise and manage resources as well as own time,
Good communicator with the ability to prioritise workloads,
Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative but contributes well in a team,
Always pays good attention to detail in all aspects of role,
Can work under pressure and work towards business deadlines.

Desirable

Experience in an office or administrative environment,
Held a part time job,
Entry level academic grades
IT literate with Microsoft Package experience.
