- Provide precise reports to Business Directors and Business Unit Controllers in the UK Places GBA.
- Offer proactive support to PMs in ensuring that Arcadis projects are efficiently managed from start to finish, following the Arcadis Way Principles.
- Collaborate closely with Business Partners to guarantee accurate performance reporting, optimize working capital, and escalate identified risks.
- Establish reliable relationships with Business Directors to ensure top-notch quality and service delivery.
- Forge trusted connections within the UK Places Finance Team to enhance teamwork.
- Spot opportunities for continuous improvement and promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the broader finance team.
- Assist Business Unit Controllers in interpreting month-end results and guide them through the business planning and estimation process.
- Deliver insightful management information to Business Directors and Operations Directors.
- Lead efforts to enhance working capital by overseeing billing and cash collection processes.
- Provide Oracle training and support to Project Managers when necessary.
- Advise Project Managers on efficient project set-up structures and ensure revenue recognition compliance with IFRS.
- Support Project Managers in reforecasting projects as needed, challenging performance changes for accurate month-end reporting.
- Participate in project reviews, reporting any identified risks to management promptly.
- Ensure reliable and accurate month-end project performance reporting.
- Adhere to Arcadis Way policies and procedures.
- Possess a fully qualified accounting certification or equivalent through experience.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Showcase excellent time management skills.
