Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd has secured a number of major projects/programmes wins within the public and central government sector to support providing professional services.
We have exciting opportunities for Project Managers from Assistant to Associate Director level to join our team in a dynamic environment. You'll be working in a sociable environment and be part of a Project Management team.
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of large-scale new build projects, extensive CAT A, B and C fit out works across various locations. You will provide excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues, programme leads, client representatives, consultants and contractors on site to effectively deliver projects from inception to completion.
To be considered for this position you will need to have experience in construction project management, ideally with prior project management positions with public and central government clients.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
- Engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships
- Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our customer's requirements.
- Managing projects and/or programmes to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures
- Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer's agent or project manager
- Producing and presenting to customers
- Mentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential
- Preparing bids for services.
- Managing service delivery for profit
- Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance

Who we're looking for:
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- Sound project management and/or programme management experience post qualification.
- Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques
- Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent and/or Project Manager
- Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
- Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams.
Qualifications
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or
- MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers) or
- MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders) or
- NEC 4 Practitioner/or in the process of obtaining
