The Role Includes:
- Proactively manage your portfolio of customers' overdue accounts.
- Work closely with other members of the credit control team in reducing overdue debts.
- Undertake monthly sales ledger reviews across your portfolio with the Credit Control Supervisor.
- Investigate customer queries, liaising closely with other departments to resolve queries.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with customers to resolve payment issues.
- Conduct credit checks on customers and assess creditworthiness.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate customer details and account records.
- Review and release orders following credit policies.
- Processing of credit notes.
- Liaison with all internal departments and external customers.
Your Profile:
- Experienced working in a credit control or debt collection environment.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required and previous knowledge of SAP would also be an advantage.
- Highly analytical when analysing and interpreting data.
- You must be well organised and confident dealing with complex issues.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Able to work on own initiative.
