We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our established team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, chasing payments, and resolving queries related to invoices and credit notes.
Key Responsibilities- Chase payments from customers and resolve any related queries
- Raise invoices, process debit and credit notes, and reconcile petty cash
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, from small to large companies
- Communicate effectively with Sales Managers and other senior staff
- Verify accuracy of paperwork and open new accounts
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of experience in a credit control role, with full ownership of a ledger of accounts
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above, or equivalent
We offer a competitive salary of £26,900, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, non-contributory private health care, and a generous contributory pension scheme.
