Sign of the Times are a leading luxury resale platform based in London's Chelsea, with over 45 years' experience buying and selling pre-owned luxury goods.

We are looking for self-starters who are passionate about the sustainable nature of second-hand fashion and want to build their career at a fast-paced start-up.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working and confident fashion lover with a good attitude with a warm disposition. Working in the Ecommerce team, you will be responsible for modelling and photographing clothing from our studio.

You will be working onsite in our studio 1 or 2 days per week ideally during afternoons, evenings and/or weekends.

We are looking for models in size to suit the variety of sizes we have available for our customers to shop.

You will be working evenings and/or weekends so this could possibly fit around studies or another part-time role.

The Role:

Styling:You will put together seasonal outfits which fit the designer aesthetic and suit the style of our classic, yet fashion-forward customer. You will understand how to pair colour combinations and have a good understanding of seasonality and trends. You will treat the products with exceptional care, being mindful not to cause any damage.

Modelling: You will understand how to wear the product with confidence to make it look great on the website. You will be able to use a variety of high fashion poses to keep the customer engaged and show the product in its best light. You may also be required to join us occasionally for marketing shoots within our studio, store or on location, if you can be flexible on days and times. Taking part in these will enable you to add some high-fashion images to your modelling portfolio.

Photography:You will take photos and videos on our camera with a tripod and clicker. Any marks or damage needs to be highlighted. The photographs need to be of exceptional high quality with an understanding of camera settings and good lighting. You will be responsible to reshoot anything that is not up to scratch. You will be responsible to select and manage your images, sending them off to retouch and uploading front pictures into our systems. You will need to work fast, taking as many photos as you can in the day, working to a target. For expensive items, you will also be required to take photos front and back on, and laid out to show the inside, to be retouched into cutout shots.

Size and fit writing: You will be in charge of adding your size, height and fit notes into the description, working quickly & accurately in our shopify website management software.

Website: You will be checking website content is correct with the right photographs in the right order, and that the descriptions match the condition of the item, making changes in our systems where needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be size 10 or 12, over 5'6 tall
  • Modelling & photography experience preferred even if this is just your personal social media
  • A passion for luxury fashion
  • Good written English
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Perfect track record of reliability and being trustworthy in nature
  • Exceptional organisation skills with a practical and common sensical mindset
  • Ability to selfstart and work on your own
  • A yes person, who loves people, has a happy nature and enjoys their work
  • Someone who can use their initiative and get stuck in
