People Administrator

Objective:

Join our dynamic team as a People Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the People Team and collaborate on ad-hoc projects for the Facilities team.

This role encompasses the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and involves addressing general HR-related queries. As an FCA regulated role, annual FCA training is mandatory, along with ad-hoc training when required.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

People Team Administration:

  • Reference requests
  • Contracts
  • Change to terms letters
  • Resignation letters
  • Update Personnel files for starters, leavers, and movers
  • Work collaboratively with the Payroll Manager as an experienced user of Bamboo, the HRIS.
  • Liaise with the Payroll Manager and IT Department for seamless handling of starters, leavers, and movers processes.
  • Keep Bamboo updated with accurate information on all employees.
  • Maintain the Weekly People Team spreadsheets.
  • Assist in organizing social events, both on and offsite, such as Easter parties, Summer gatherings, Christmas celebrations, and pizza lunches.
  • Conduct monthly liaisons with employees regarding onsite massages.
  • Capture moments at events through photography for use in company literature.

Requirements:
While previous HR experience is not mandatory (training will be provided), it would be advantageous. This role serves as an excellent steppingstone for individuals looking to make their initial foray into the HR realm.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 12 years of administration skills using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Database experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a team.
  • Proven track record of working independently and taking initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with comfort in communicating at all levels.
  • Ability to streamline processes through effective administration.
  • Capacity to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively.
