Join us as we invest in the Supply Chain capability of our international businesses at QinetiQ. We are excited to introduce a newly created role of Head of Inventory and Logistics.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, this senior position will lead various inventory and logistics functions across the Australia Sector, overseeing operations in Australia, Canada, Ashford Kent UK, and Germany. The role involves managing Third Party Logistics (3PL), distribution, transportation, inventory strategy, and supply chain processes.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of products through our supply chain, managing inventory end-to-end, and developing strategies to optimize material flow. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure seamless product flow through the supply chain
- Develop strategies to minimize write-offs and excess inventory
- Enable visibility and forecasting of inventory
- Lead the development of a Demand Driven Supply Chain Management framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and external partners
Applicants should have extensive leadership experience in supply chain principles, production logistics, and international logistics. Experience with procurement and supply chain models in ERP systems is also required.
