The Emergency Medicine directorate is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join the senior team on the SDEC unit: AMRAU. The Acute Medical Rapid Assessment Unit is part of the Acute Medical team, and we have a workforce model focused on providing safe and effective patient care, and leadership and development of the nursing team.

You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the unit will be moving into a new purpose built unit from Spring 2024. So no better time to consider the next step in your career journey.

AMRAU is a same day Non-Ambulatory Emergency care centre that strives to treat a number of medical conditions within the same day to prevent patients requiring admission to hospital. In this post you will be responsible for the initial assessment of patients and providing an effective care pathway within the SDEC units.
