The role:
We're looking for a dedicated In-House Counsel / Advocate to join our team.

You will work alongside senior solicitors, advocating in Courts across Greater London and providing critical advice on cases where landlords have failed to meet repair obligations.


Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct advocacy in courts across Greater London
  • Draft legal documents such as advices, pleadings, and skeleton arguments
  • Stay updated on procedural changes, case law, and legislation
  • Provide high-quality advocacy services
  • Assist in drafting Points of Claim (PoCs)

About you:


The ideal candidate will be a qualified barrister or experienced solicitor with Higher Rights and have a passion for tenant advocacy.


  • Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication, engaging a diverse audience
  • Critical thinker with a solid knowledge of housing law (s 9/10/11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act)
  • Well-organised, able to manage time effectively
  • Maintains professional standards
  • Confident, dynamic, and success-driven
  • IT literate with good typing skills
  • Keeps abreast of housing law and legal developments
