Attention all experienced librarians A fantastic opportunity awaits you at an amazing secondary school in Hackney, East London. Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated librarian to join their team starting on 20th February 2023.


As the school's librarian, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the library and promoting its core services.

You will lead in creating a positive reading environment for students, encouraging them to develop a love for readingand fostering their academic development through various resources.


You will work closely with staff members to ensure that the library provides appropriate resources for independent learning and research activities.

Your efforts will contribute to the overall quality of teaching and learning across the academy.

This is a term-time-only role, with working hours from 8am to 5pm, and a 30-minute lunch break.

The salary for this position is competitive and will range from £17.50 to £20 per hour, depending on your experience.


Please note that the school is seeking a permanent Librarian, so the role could start as a temporary role and become permanent or if you prefer a temporary role, would continue until a permanent placement is made.
