Job Title: Sideways-Thinking Enterprise Account Executive at Aiven

Our Sales team is pivotal in our growth, aiming to establish Aiven as the go-to data platform for all. Collaborating with customers and channel partners, we seek bold individuals willing to challenge the status quo and showcase the transformative impact of Aiven's managed data services.

To join our team, you need to be results-driven, excel in negotiation, and possess strong communication skills. Exploring every opportunity to drive sales, akin to a true Crab, is essential.

The Role:

As an Account Executive at Aiven, you will focus on selling our PaaS to senior executives and key decision-makers, fostering relationships across organizations. Your role includes challenging customers' existing practices, highlighting how Aiven's services enhance efficiency and accelerate software development.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify prospects to open new accounts and increase revenue with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a qualified pipeline and exceed revenue targets.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and manage the sales process effectively.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, negotiate deals, and engage with VP and C-Level stakeholders.
  • Develop proposals, respond to RFPs, and conduct sales presentations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in Cloud, SaaS, data infrastructure, or DevOps.
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline growth and engage with Development and Product Organizations.
