This is a key role in supporting the delivery plans and governance arrangements for the Integrated Care Board (ICB) but focussing upon POD (Pharmacy, Ophthalmology & Dental Services).

This post is responsible for ensuring services within the ICB are safe, effective, of high quality and continue to improve by:
Promoting patient safety, positive patient experience and clinical effectiveness and the use of quality improvement. Analyse quality reports from Providers assessing delivery against contractual standards and implement timely pro-active actions to drive improvement. Work collaboratively with Providers to investigate quality concerns and develop/oversee improvement actions.

Provide professional advice and support to ICB teams, within the scope of their portfolio.
