You will have the opportunity to join the Oxford South Getting More Help (CAMHS) Service. We have a reputation for being creative, innovative, forward thinking, dynamic and research led.

The wellbeing of our Administrative and Clinical staff is top of our agenda; we have an active Wellbeing Team and regular opportunities for staff support.

We have a strong ethos of collaboration, shared reflection and team working.

This will include:

  • Systemic assessments
  • Offering systemic consultation to both CAMHS clinicians and Multiagency services
  • Leading a Family Therapy clinic, with reflecting team
  • Teaching opportunities to wider the CAMHS network
  • Delivering clinical supervision and supporting family therapy trainees at all stages of their development


Training and development is a priority and we support clinicians who want to challenge themselves and development their knowledge and skill base.

Staff in the wider CAMHS teams are interested and proficient in a wide range of therapies and there is a good culture of skill sharing.

All development opportunities will be considered through the PDR/Appraisal framework.

The Oxford South Getting More Help CAMHS Service covers a diverse catchment area, that is both rural and urban.

Our main office sits within the pretty Market Town of Abingdon on Thames, which is conveniently situated 1 mile from the A34 and 5 miles from the historic City of Oxford.
