My client established in January 2014 is an accounting practice that provides advice to businesses to help them with tax planning, managing their cash and identifying opportunities.

They provide stand-alone accountancy services and also aim to find solutions for their clients that integrates the various aspects of accountancy, tax planning and financial management.

They are now on the lookout for an accounts apprentice to come and join their small but busy team.

You must have 5 GCSE's with at least a 6 grade in English and Maths as well as completed your A-levels or equivalent college course and be happy to work in a small Accountancy team

Initially the role will involve:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Helping manage and update the Xero Accounts for our clients


Payroll
  • Calculating and submitting monthly returns


Selfassessment Tax Returns
  • Working out and submitting personal returns for clients


VAT
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and calculations
  • Ad hoc Accounts tasks
  • Liaising with HMRC and clients to support the team, Writing letters

Must have 6s in maths and English as well as A-levels or equivalent college course.

£16,000.00 per year
