First Achieve Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Controls Engineer in Edinburgh region. You will be working with a global aerospace engineering company

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PLC/HMI hardware/software design, programming, and troubleshooting. (15%)
Develop and engineer electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and PLC logic. (50%)
Interface and communicate with vendors, process engineering, installation contractors and project management.

(35%)KEY COMPETENCIES:

Strong understanding of PLC ladder logic, programming methods, and process related control systems. (Allen Bradley Micro Logix, RS Logix 500 and Control Logix Platforms)

Ability to examine complex electrical problems, identify source of problems, determine method for repair; plan and organize work; complete complex electrical tasks by using and understanding Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic drawings and schematics.

Knowledge of automation (PLC) and electrical system design, diagnosis and operationSalary (£40-50,000)
