Main Purpose of job:


The Quality Patrol Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that product quality is maintained throughout the moulding and secondary operations areas ensuring compliance to customer specification and to meet our objectives of achieving long term success.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Patrol inspection carrying out dimensional and visual inspection of components
  • To ensure product inspection procedures are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Interpret engineering drawings to comprehend the quality expectations for required products
  • First off approval / rejection of products with respect to quality standards and customer specification
  • Issue of documents / process instructions etc. to the shop floor as required
  • Report any nonconforming products or processes to the relevant personnel
  • Segregation and quarantine of nonconforming products and any subsequent inspection if necessary
  • Use of CMM to measure complex dimensions, together with the monitoring of results
  • Maintain records of checks, information and various metrics as required
  • Audit production cycle processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Monitor the use of inspection equipment to ensure it is well maintained and report any defects
  • Prepare and submit any reports if required
  • Advise the necessary personnel of any updates required to Process / Work Instructions
  • Final Inspection & Goods Inwards inspection as required
  • To cover sickness / holiday absence within the department if required

Personal Attributes:

  • Time management and organisational skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willing to undertake training as required
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.)

Hour of Work:
Mon-Thurs 12:00 - 22:15

FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED FOR SUITABLE APPLICANTS

Job Types:
