Engineering Inspector

Job Summary:
LRQA is seeking a skilled Engineering Inspector to join our team in the Nottingham area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our clients' products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of engineering products to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspection results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues.
- Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in quality control and inspection techniques.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in engineering inspection or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in the manufacture or inspection/testing of pressure vessels and/or gas cylinders.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
