About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical/ Quality Inspector to join our team in Birmingham. As a Technical/ Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing passive fire protection systems and fire door repairs within large projects such as hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site inspections, liaising with all stakeholders
- Issue compliance certificates and maintain detailed records
- Monitor work quality and adherence to standards
- Assist in developing training programmes on fire safety standards
- Interrogate others document management portals
Requirements:
- Ideally chartered in a construction-related discipline (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire door repairs
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety standards and building codes
- Confident in conducting site inspections
- Strong team player and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to travel to sites as needed
- Good IT Skills
