Duties:
- Must have previous experience of reporting with KPIs
- KPI bonus scheme
- Previous experience of health and safety procedures and implementing policies.
- Unlocking and prestart checks on all operational equipment.
- Resource planning to maximise efficiency and ensure operational success.
- Proactively manage the daily work plan.
- Organise and manage the daily picking requirements and replenishments from our overspill warehouses.
- Monitor accuracy and organisation during unloading/inspection of all inbound goods/returned product.
- Supervise picking and checking process for accuracy and to ensure customers' orders are fulfilled.
- Daily liaison with Transport, Customer Service and Customers to monitor daily workflow and improve processes.
- Assist in employee training, development, and engagement.
Skills:
- Experience in starting up a warehouse site from scratch
- Experience in leading a team in a warehousing and logistics environment.
- Exceptional man management and communication skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement.
- Knowledge and experience of health and safety with full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.
- Proactive with an eye for problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge and operation of WMS systems are essential etc.
