Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our industrial laundry facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, driving efficiency, ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the laundry and ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage, train, and support a team of employees, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met consistently.
  • Efficiency Gains: Ensure we are set up optimally to be the most efficient we can be and drive this across all shifts.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement within the operation, implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of stock and utilize this stock holding to ensure we deliver to the customer in full.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with the Customer Service team to support them to ultimately deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including productivity, quality, and financial metrics.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an industrial laundry or similar environment is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes and how to scale them.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G-suite and familiarity with warehouse management software.
  • 2 years in a managerial role, managing a team in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong inquisitive nature and desire to implement effective change within your area of responsibility.
