Evesham, Vale Business Park

Hours: 37.5 (Monday to Friday)


As an Apprentice at Robert Welch Designs, you will have a real job from day one, whilst continuing your studies at college gaining an NVQ Level 2 and 3.


Working with an inspiring team you'll get a great insight into how our business works, you'll earn a salary whilst gaining practical experience.

*A full 24-month training programme will be carried out. Robert Welch will work closely with the College to ensure the correct level of support and development is being received*
Overall Objective

  • To monitor the quality of the products that have been received in the warehouse.
  • To make sure that the products are checked for quality before moving to the normal stock using the AQL standard
  • To monitor the dimensions of the products
  • You will report directly to the Quality Control Manager_

Role Overview
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, a strong work ethic and hunger to learn.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Checking documents and approved samples, inspection area, light condition, and tools for inspection.
  • Inspect the products using AQL standard and the QC sheets.
  • Visual checking of shape of the products comparing with the approved samples.
  • Using specific tools to check the dimensions of products according with the tolerances accepted and the drawings
  • Reports to the QC Manager with any discrepancies found
  • Record the inspection reports in the database
