The Customer Care / Sales Order Representative plays a crucial role in directly engaging with both external and internal customers on a daily basis.


Key Responsibilities:

- Review, enter, and manage customer orders for consumables & hardware following order booking and entry procedures
- Handle customer calls and emails efficiently
- Generate and monitor open order reports
- Respond to inquiries and assist in resolving issues related to production scheduling, shipping, and invoicing

All tasks are carried out in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.

  • Review, enter, and book orders while proactively following up to resolve issues
    - Monitor order holds and take necessary actions
    - Schedule shipments based on product availability
    - Handle invoicing of shipped orders
    - Coordinate goods collections
    - Professionally address incoming requests via phone and email to ensure prompt resolution
    - Actively pursue answers from internal resources
    - Demonstrate strong communication, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
    - Work independently and seek guidance when needed
    - Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced customer care or customer experience role within manufacturing or life sciences
    Professional manner, excellent phone etiquette, attention to detail, and team player mentality
    Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service
    Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision
    Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Office
    Strong time management and organizational skills
    Proficiency in European languages, German fluency is a plus
