The Deputy Chief Medical Officer (DCMO) will agree on a balanced portfolio that offers exceptional experience in medical leadership across our diverse Community Trust and the wider system.
They will chair Trust-wide groups and will be a visible, respected, and key senior clinical leader.Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer to provide leadership and development to the medical and dental workforce, ensuring delivery of patient-centred, safe, and high-quality care.
Governance and safety:
Ensuring appropriate governance and leadership of the Trust's Research and Innovation programme, and ensure clinical services are safe, placing quality of care at the heart of the Trust's work.
Liaising with partner organisations, including the Integrated Care Board and other Trusts, to develop system-wide solutions to improve health and healthcare for the population of Sussex.
