Retail Marketing Executive


At Pavers & Jones Bootmaker, we are looking for a Retail Marketing Executive to join our Head Office Retail team in York.

This role will be responsible for being the strategic and operational link between Retail and our Marketing departments, to supportfootfall driving activity to our store locations and brand awareness of our stores throughout the UK and Ireland.

This is a full time(39.5 hours per week) permanent position and we offer some flexible/hybrid working options and free parking at the office


You'll work cross functionally with Head Office teams such as merchandising, ecommerce and Creative Marketing and our retail store host centres where relevant, plus standalone store locations to seek out opportunities for brand promotional activity, to supportthe driving of sales in our stores.

This will include having a cost-conscious approach to your marketing opportunities and liaising with Area Management/Store Management teams to capitalise on local marketing opportunities.


What would success for the Retail Marketing Executive look like:

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal and external parties who can support driving footfall and increasing our sales
  • Maximised Marketing opportunities across the shop portfolio building brand exposure and footfall, managed within set budgets
  • Ideally all agreed activity value will be understood.
  • Working with our Hosts to find non expensive, cost neutral or free value adding Marketing opportunities.
  • Successfully support Retail projects which would need building within the Marketing plan and liaising with the inhouse creative marketing teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Create and manage the Trading Planner of key Marketing activity with the Area Management team that fits within agreed budgets and monitoring its success.
  • Effectively manage the store marketing requests & own budgets

Requirements to be our Retail Marketing Executive

  • Marketing experience, ideally within a retail setting
  • Any Marketing related study would be beneficial but not essential


 Opportunist
  • Have the ability to find, implement and measure success
  • Highly organise with excellent communication skills
  • Strong Administration skills, ideally experienced in Excel and a selfmotivated individual.
  • Highly organised, able to multitask and prioritise.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and not afraid to challenge the statusquo
  • Able to lead by example &, take responsibility for own developments and delivering set objectives.

Salary:
up to £25,000 depending on experience plus;
