Job overview

We are recruiting for Theatre & Vascular Hub Staff who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

It's an exciting time for Theatres. We are a highly motivated team of 300 staff members who are always working hard to support our patients, and each other. We're also expanding, so we're looking for Theatre Nurses & Operating Department Practitioners who share our excitement for our future.

Our department has three advanced surgical robots, including the CMR and Da Vinci robot, enabling us to deliver precise and minimally invasive surgeries.

This summer we will be opening our state-of -the-art Vascular Hybrid Theatre, as we continue our journey of becoming a Vascular Hub for East, North, and West Hertfordshire.

  • Must be willing to undertake relevant post registration courses as advised by the Practice Educators/ Theatre Team Leaders
Desirable criteria
  • ILS/ALS
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Evidence of mentorship & preceptorship training
Previous ExperienceDesirable criteria
  • Post qualification experience within the perioperative setting
  • Relevant experience in either an inpatient or day surgery theatre, maternity theatre or other relevant clinical area
  • Experience of providing clinical support outside of the theatre area
