About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Vascular Data Officer to join our growing Network team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data used for national and local audit projects within the vascular field.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Validate patient data from both digital and paper records, meticulously checking for completeness and accuracy across specified datasets.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve any discrepancies in data, fostering strong communication channels within the healthcare network.
  • Upload validated data into designated web-based portals, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Trust's Access Policy and operating instructions, adhering to strict protocols for data handling.
  • Analyze internal data sources to generate routine reports based on established procedures. This involves manipulating and analyzing data from multiple sources, focusing on identifying trends and insights within vascular care.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling clear and concise data interpretation for various audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic to intermediate functions for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing effectively to collaborative projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
