About The Role

We are seeking a skilled HR Data Analyst to join our expanding People Services team based in Stevenage. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights to support business initiatives and process improvements.

This is a standalone position that will involve understanding the landscape of HR data and HRIS, becoming the go-to person for HR data and people analytics. You will work closely with HR representatives and senior leadership teams to present data and insights that drive business decisions.

About The Team

Our People Services team is part of the wider People team, working in an ever-growing business. The team is made up of 23 members, including Payroll specialists and Transactional coordinators, who work alongside this role in providing services to around 11,000 colleagues. There is a lot of change and plenty of things to fix, with a real opportunity to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the integrity of HR data and synchronization across various data points and sources.
  • Build and maintain a schedule of HR reporting and develop analytics capability by building dashboards that assist the business in understanding and making data-driven decisions.
  • Deliver reporting and analytics on HR administration, resourcing, talent, reward, and benefit activities, including development and reporting of KPIs.
  • Ensure data is in a format that is easily interpreted by stakeholders and that the HR team has a good understanding of the relevant data and format.
  • Provide commentary and effective visualization of data, always with the end user in mind.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience of working with HR data sets.
  • Aptitude in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Exceptional skills in Excel and data manipulation.
  • Experience of working with an HR system.
  • Experience of working with incomplete or inconsistent data sets.
  • Ability to prioritize and work to competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to turn data into intelligence, insights, and analysis.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion environment is preferred.
  • Experience of using Power BI is preferred.
