About the role
We don't expect you to have had any previous experience - our structured programme will teach you everything you need to know Right now, we are more interested in your passion, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
At Aviva we might be known for our insurance offering, but as a Customer Apprentice you'll be working as part of our Wealth business - one of our other specialist areas Our Wealth products have much in common with our insurance products.
The difference is that while insurance often helps to prepare often unwanted events, pensions and investments help to prepare for the good events.
So, for example, by making regular payments into a pension or investment fund, our customers can spread the cost of big life events- like retirement, a wedding, university fees.
Everything you do will have an impact on Aviva and our customers, so you'll need to be passionate about delivering the best service and results.
Prioritisation is key in this role; so you will likely be someone who enjoys planning as well as interacting with others.
The Apprenticeship
You'll spend 80% of your time gaining real hands-on experience in the role and 20% dedicated to your Apprenticeship studies with a National Training Provider supporting your accredited qualifications - a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship.
Throughout, you'll be working alongside a community of highly skilled and experienced professionals who will be on hand to support and encourage you every step of the way.

What do we look for?
New insights, perspectives and diversity of thought are all invaluable to us which is why you don't need to have had any previous experience.
But we would like you to:
- Have at least five GCSEs or Scottish National 5s at A*C or 94 grade (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Be a great communicator combined with initiative and a strong desire to learn
- Possess the ability to work independently, but also as part of a team
Most importantly, you'll need to be naturally curious, keen to take the lead when it comes to your own development and excited by the prospect of building a long-term career with Aviva.
